Round tables, generous centrepieces and private rooms for a gathering. At Chī Hǎo in TTDI, the menu offers plenty of reasons to bring people together, from preorder roast duck to seafood claypots.

## Come with people to feed

A round table changes the way a meal unfolds. Dishes arrive in the middle, portions are passed around and the order becomes a conversation. Chī Hǎo in TTDI is built for that kind of gathering, with terracotta-coloured chairs, shared tables and a Chinese menu that moves between roast duck, seafood and claypot dishes.
Its name, 吃好, means “eat well”. Here, that is a useful starting point for planning: choose a centrepiece, add a few dishes with different textures and sauces, and leave room for everyone’s favourites. For a family meal or a group celebration, the restaurant also has private rooms that can be booked around a set menu.

## Reserve the roast duck before the table fills

Crispy Skin Roast Duck is listed at RM78 for half a duck or RM128 for a whole duck. It requires a preorder two days ahead, so this is a dish to arrange when making the reservation. The half and whole options give smaller and larger tables a way to include it in a shared meal.
Start with your guest count and ask the restaurant which portion suits the rest of your order. A whole duck alongside several substantial seafood dishes is a different meal from half a duck with a few smaller plates. Settling that balance in advance also makes it easier for a host to agree on a budget.

## Give seafood a place in the middle

The Thai Snapper Seafood Platter, named “The Ocean’s Gift”, is listed at RM158. It combines red snapper, prawns, clams and squid in a Thai-style broth, making it an option for a table that wants several kinds of seafood in one centrepiece.
Another substantial order is the Sizzling Black Pepper Crab Glass Noodles Claypot, at RM128. Claypot Prawns with Silky Rice Rolls is listed at RM72, while the Sizzling Spicy Iron Seafood Medley is RM78. With several sauced dishes on the menu, consider how they will sit alongside the roast duck and any other main you have chosen.
Steamed Fresh Prawns in Aged Wine also appears in the supplied menu, but no price was provided for that dish. Ask the restaurant for its current price and availability if you would like to include it. For shellfish allergies, discuss the whole order with the team rather than relying on a dish name alone.

## Build a meal around the centrepieces

There is more to the menu than duck and seafood. Ah Ma Dry Curry Pork Ribs is listed at RM52, Classic Ginger Steam Pork Belly at RM58 and Braised Lamb Casserole with Bean Curd Skin at RM58. These give a group different directions to take, depending on whether the table favours curry, ginger or a casserole.
Succulent Chilli Prawn Tofu, at RM46, brings tofu and prawns into the order. The 36-Hour Pork Bone Broth with Fish Maw and Handmade Dumplings is RM68, offering a soup course to consider alongside the larger sharing plates.
Rather than ordering every signature, ask the team to help balance portions for your party. Mention children, spice preferences and dietary requirements at the reservation stage. Chī Hǎo serves pork and is not halal-certified; the supplied brief says vegetarian dishes can be requested, so discuss suitable preparations directly.

## Private rooms for the occasion

Four private rooms are described in the venue brief. Pedas and Lazat each accommodate around 10 guests; Rasa and Segar are listed for groups of approximately 10–20. Confirm the room arrangement and comfortable seating capacity for your particular party before booking.
Private events can be arranged with set menus. That makes a useful starting point for a birthday, family gathering or business meal: give the restaurant the guest count, budget and must-have dishes, then agree on the menu and any room conditions. If roast duck is part of the plan, include its two-day preorder in that discussion.
The brief also lists a Thai Seafood Feast lunch special at RM98++, reduced from RM158, serving two to three people. No specific days or serving hours were supplied for this promotion, so check when it is offered and what is included. Prices marked ++ exclude additional charges.

## Plan your visit

Chī Hǎo is at No. 141 and 141-A, Jalan Aminuddin Baki, Taman Tun Dr Ismail, 60000 Kuala Lumpur. Opening hours are listed as daily, noon–10.30pm, with the kitchen closed from 3–5.30pm. Plan lunch or dinner around that kitchen break.
Reservations: 012-803 3382. Email: chihaottdi@gmail.com. Takeaway and delivery are also described in the supplied brief; contact the restaurant for current ordering arrangements.
For a group booking, confirm the private room, menu and final price together. For a smaller table, a reserved duck portion and one or two carefully chosen dishes may be a better starting point than a long order made on arrival.
