Saved stories
Your reading list is stored in this browser using local storage. It is not sent to The Social Chapter and does not sync across devices. Clear it by removing saved stories, or by clearing this site’s browser data.
Search
Search runs on your device against the journal’s story index. Search terms are not submitted to a server by The Social Chapter. The site collects aggregate page-view counts, anonymous load-performance samples and sampled reading starts/completions. Completion means reaching the end after at least 15 visible seconds; no visitor identifiers are stored. It does not use advertising trackers or visitor IDs. Search terms are not collected. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals are respected for these metrics.
Forms and newsletter
Enquiry details are stored so our team can respond to your request. Newsletter addresses and consent are stored separately; only confirmed subscribers are included in mailing exports. Confirmation messages use our configured email delivery provider when available. Your enquiry does not subscribe you. You can unsubscribe from the confirmation-complete screen or through future newsletter unsubscribe links. Please do not submit sensitive information.
Hosting
The hosting platform may process technical requests and access information needed to serve the site and enforce its access settings. Fonts and editorial images are served with this site. Browser storage is used only to keep your reading list.
