Let dinner become the evening
Some plans work best when they stay at one address. At The Brick by Justwine in TTDI, dinner can begin with a cut chosen for the table and continue over wine as the live music starts. The restaurant combines premium steaks with Chinese-Western dishes, giving a group plenty of ways to order beyond a main course each.
The room adds to that evening mood: a brick-vaulted ceiling, dark seating, mirrors and a portrait of a singer above the tables. It is a setting built around dining and music, with a VIP room available for private occasions. Book with the shape of your evening in mind, particularly if you want to hear the live set or arrange a separate space for guests.
Make the steak the centrepiece
The restaurant’s table-side meat selection puts the cut at the start of the conversation. The supplied menu lists A4 Kagoshima Wagyu at RM125 per 100g, Tajima Wagyu Ribeye at RM92 per 100g and Tajima Wagyu T-bone at RM78 per 100g. These are weight-based prices: agree on the portion and its total cost before the order goes to the kitchen.
The steak arrives on a board with accompaniments, leaving room for a shared order to become the centre of the table. A smaller group might start with one cut and a few plates; a celebration can build the meal around several choices. The useful question is how much your table wants to eat, rather than simply which cut has the highest price.
Other options include Grilled US Pork Tomahawk at RM92 and Lumina Lamb Short Loin at RM62 per 100g. Bone Marrow with Caviar and Toast, listed at RM68, is a richer addition for the group. Ask the team which cuts are available on the day, particularly when a specific steak is central to your plans.
Leave space for the rest of the menu
The Brick’s appeal also lies in the plates around the grill. Garlic Butter Escargot is listed at RM36, while Pork Skewer with Satay Sauce and Porky Salsa are RM28 each. They give the table a way to begin with smaller orders while deciding on the larger dishes.
For pasta, Spaghetti ai Frutti di Mare is RM48, combining prawns, mussels and clams in a tomato sauce. It brings a seafood option to a menu whose most visible focus is steak. A table with different appetites can therefore build a meal from the grill, a pasta and a couple of sharing plates without everyone ordering the same thing.
The restaurant serves pork and alcohol and is not halal-certified. Raise allergies and other dietary requirements when booking, then confirm suitable dishes with the team before ordering.
Stay for the live set
The supplied schedule lists live music from 8pm daily, with no cover charge for dining guests. The performers rotate across the week, so ask for the current line-up if the music is a deciding part of your visit.
An earlier dinner gives the table time to eat before the set begins. For a larger gathering, enquire about the VIP room, seating arrangements and any booking conditions. Keep the music schedule and your group’s preferred pace in the same conversation: a dinner with friends may want a different table from a private celebration.
A Sunday lunch worth planning ahead for
The monthly Sunday Roast is a separate occasion from The Brick’s usual evening service. The brief lists it for the last Sunday of each month, from noon to 3pm, at RM128++ per person, with free-flow beef, pork, chicken, pasta, sides and dessert.
Optional drinks packages are listed separately: RM118++ per person for Prosecco, or RM68++ per person for house-pour red and white wine. Confirm the next roast date, availability, drinks terms and final price before reserving; the midday roast hours should not be assumed to apply on other days.
There is also a limited-time Diamante Wagyu MB6/5 offer in the supplied material, starting from RM68++ per 100g instead of RM80. Treat it as an offer to ask about, rather than a permanent menu price. Prices marked ++ exclude additional charges, and promotional terms apply.
