A personal starting point
Buying another skincare product can come with a familiar question: will my skin actually agree with it? For Cheryl Yeo, that uncertainty helped inspire Yeotaskin, the Malaysian herbal skincare brand she founded in 2019.
Cheryl previously worked in fashion, travelling between China and Hong Kong. According to Top Leader’s founder profile, a work trip introduced her to a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner whose herbal formula prompted her to explore creating her own brand. The publication also covered her recognition in the 2024 Malaysia Top Entrepreneur Awards.

Skincare that feels personal
It is a familiar starting point: a bathroom shelf filled with products bought with good intentions, and a much smaller handful that feels right for everyday use.
That personal beginning still shapes Yeotaskin’s message. Its recent Facebook post encourages choosing care around individual concerns, from dryness to blemishes, instead of following every trend. The same emphasis appears on its official Instagram.
Chinese herbal traditions sit at the centre of the brand’s identity, while the collection spans familiar daily staples: cleansers, serums, moisturisers, sunscreen and masks.
